Where funding can come from

Provincial health & home care programsSome equipment may be covered or loaned through provincial programs, depending on your eligibility and assessment.
Private & workplace insuranceMany extended health plans cover part of the cost of mobility and bathroom safety equipment with a prescription or assessment.
Veterans Affairs CanadaEligible veterans may have coverage for mobility aids and home modifications.
Injury claims (WCB, MPI)If your needs follow a workplace or vehicle injury, your claim may cover equipment.
Tax creditsSome medical equipment and home accessibility renovations may qualify for tax credits.

Coverage depends on your situation and each program’s rules. We’ll help you understand your options, but final decisions are made by the funder.
